They Say They Miss You—but Never Agree to Meet

Missing someone may be sincere, but repeated refusal to meet shows that emotion is not becoming available relationship behavior.
Another common call involves warm messages with no real-world movement. The person says they miss you, remembers intimate details and talks about seeing you soon. Every proposed day, however, becomes complicated.
The feeling may still be real
People can miss closeness while fearing accountability, rejection or the decisions a meeting would force. Sincerity in the moment does not create reliability.
Stop negotiating against yourself
Offer one or two reasonable times. If neither works, ask them to suggest a specific alternative. Endless flexibility teaches the connection that your time has no edges.
Listen for plans instead of atmosphere
“Soon” and “when things calm down” preserve hope without requiring action. A date, time and place are different. Let concrete behavior carry more weight than emotional language.
